hmm. Well I pick up my pottery in WS. If you would like a piece then you could meet me there or I could bring it too you for gas and $5 an hour driving time. which would equal what 5 bucks total

If your interested that is. I'm not trying to press you into buying something you don't want. I'm just trying to let you know that we can work with the shipping because your so close if you would like a piece. If you do decide that you want something just describe what you want and how big you want it and I'll try to quote you a price. If you decide you don't want it when it's done that's fine btw.

EDIT: I just had a look on google earth your south of winston. Oh well we'll work something out if you decide to get something from me.
I come down 220S,then ellisboro, then 158W, then 40W, then 150E (peter's creek). If you meet me along that route I won't charge shipping. If you meet me at the pottery shed (where I pick up my pottery) then you can pick what you want from what I fired that time.

EDIT: oh yeah I'll need to know what fish you want to keep in the tank with it so I know how big to make the holes.

2nd firing. I'll add the info for each piece later. enjoy.

These all look great.. I really enjoyed looking at them.. I have a few ideas and would seriously consider buying a few pieces if these come out.. They would end up going in my african cichlid tank.. I really like the S C shapped pieces... The curved base pieces i hope thats a good enough description.. Well anyways i dont know if this is possiblie or if it will work or if it even was sugested.. What about a multi level cave?? Like make the first level seal it off like anyone of your previous caves and then start to make a smaller level on top.. Make something 2-3 levels.. I will see if this helps: H So that each H is its own level.. Start by
HH Making each level and then adding on top.
HHH

Over all everything looks great I will keep an eye on these and maybe buy some in the near future.

I have thought about the multi-level pieces before and I think I can make them. I'd make some now that I know there is a demand, but I've already taken my last kiln load. So until I sell most of the pieces I have now I won't be able to make anymore. No money... In about a week or two I will post the pics of my 3rd and for now final kiln load. i'm gonna post a pic of a piece I made that fell down. This pic is just of the roof. It fell down before I took a picture of it finished. It's about 20" wide and is intended for small-medium sized Koi. I made another when It fell down. It's only 18" across though.

Well My only problem with doing commisions at the moment is that I am not planning on doing any more firings until I can get most of a kiln load of commisions, or I sell enough of my pieces to cover the cost of makeing all of them. I don't know if I could make a turtle that would please you. I can give it a shot and PM you a picture of the piece unfired so you can decide whether you like it or not. If not then I'll just smush it up and make something else. Do you want it made from coils or carved straight out of clay. I haven't carved anything straight out of clay before so I don't know what I'd charge or what the end result would be.

The business isn't doing to great atm but I now have a piece on ebay...we'll see how that goes. I have A LOT of people saying they want pieces but I have yet to recieve my first e-mail from any of them and I have yet to sell my first piece.

I can make pieces for planted tanks. If you look at the picture on the very first page that piece has two cups on the side for plants. I've also considered making special pieces for reef building...still working on that idea.

Thanks sooo much for your interest. If you would like a piece or would like to commision a work then please PM me and we will discuss it in detail. BTW A 6 X 6 in piece that takes me an hour to make would cost you between 12-18 depending on the end quality and the difficulty. Thanks again for the interest.

Here's a picture I just took of the piece I was talking about with the cups on the sides.

Also I think the tubes would look good with java moss growing all over them. The small holes are for light, viewing, and running string through to tie down the java moss.

Here's your turtle :D

Not my best work but I certainly did try. Is this what you had in mind.

EDIT: I just got an idea on how to make one and threw him together. Any changes you would like me to make are just fine with me. And I will do what you want as best I can.

EDIT: Oh BTW no pressure at all to buy the thing.

I'm thinking my best bet for making what you want would be to use a mold. I'll look into it when I go to pick up my next kiln load. Shouldn't be much really. I think I can do it. I'll try doing it without a mold but I bet it'll just fall down. Like I said the only problem with making it for you will be getting it fired. I'll let you know if I do another firing and If I can make the turtle I'll make it just for the experience and if you want it you can buy it.

about making it stand up...I'm not sure if I can. I will try but I'm not Positive I can do it without putting the legs on with silicone after I fire the piece. I will try though.

I'll add measurements a bit later
