I Got My 75!

So excited, I got a 75 gallon tank today second hand. All I need is the stand.

Unfortunately, it came with everything, including fish. Even more unfortunately, these fish are African cichlids. They were never kept in high ph or high stocking. The only one I may be keeping is there jewel, if it behaves.

The stocking as soon as I set it up will be as following:
1 firemouth
1 jewel (if it behaves)
1 angel
1 raphael
1 featherfin
1 bn plec
5 khulis
8 black skirts
6 red eyes

I'd like to upscale the numbers on the social fish, as well as add one big compatible fish if possible. Something 8 inches or larger would be great, and I'm open for suggestion. Any advice on number uppage is appreciated, in the form of the stocking list above. Thanks much

75g! Niceeeeeeeee!

Looks like a cracking stock already!! You could add a shole of silver dollars, they grow to a fair size and really are the gentle giants of the fish world.... and they look great!

Stocking sounds good!
But beware of jewels, they can be pretty nasty, my Fm and Jewel hate eachother.
A Severum would make a nice addition for your big fish.

Yeah, I'm fully aware of these monsters, I didn't buy the guy myself, he just came with me when I bought the tank. The people I got the tank and fish from said he's pretty chill, but I'll have to see it myself.

lol, I've always wanted silver dollars, but they eat plants, and I plan to have a lot of plants. Don't wanna come home to a bunch of fat silver dollars and a shredded aquarium

I agree with Keeper, a couple of nice severum would look nice as your 'big fish', couple of orange 1s, nice and bright too!!
