I Got Crabs!

Well, one crab to be precise

Cant take a photo cus its down in a crevice, however its approx 1cm across and is stripey. Almost black and white stripes over the shell and legs. Quite a flat crab and is grazing on the rock.

Anyone got any ideas?? I'm hoping its NOT a Sally lightfoot!

Doesn't sound like a Sally to me Can you get a pic when it comes out? How many legs has it got and what are the claws like compaired to the body? These can be used in a "rule of thumb" guide to get an idea of if it's friendly and/or reef safe

the shell makes me think its some sort of stomatella snail

i got one as a hitchhiker and its like a year old, still only 1/2 inch big =[

EDIT: does your crab look like

its a zebra crab, but apparently they are urchin crabs, also some pictures looks very spikey

Yeh, just looked up "Stomatella" and thats it

Unsure of the crab Its legs look similar, but have been unable to get a clear look at the rest of it.
