Cool.
I am waiting for the lfs to get back with me about the otos that I want to order. I made them get with the supplier to get the spacific kind that they have. I don't like to be told "assorted". I want to know what they are. I would really like to find sp 2. The zebra oto is really pretty. I just haven't found much info on them yet.
I am going to be a little bit longer before I start stocking though. I have a water issue right now. My pH and stuff is rising for some reason. I have got to get that sorted, and get some of the existing fish moved around.
Before I always jumped right in and then went back and fixed what ever I didn't like. That turns out to be a lot of work and very costly. I am going slow this time so I can hopefully get it right the first time.

I think that is a good idea, Amanda! HOpefully you will get it sorted soon, as this is THE fish buying season. I don't know at your end, but here it gets more difficult around mid october, because of the dropping temperatures. Basically we only have 2 seasons here: April to June (summer time nobody wants to buy), and then it picks up again around August - September until October.

Please dont put Ottos into tanks that have not been set up for long as they tend not to survive very long. Heavily planted tanks with broad leaved plants and some algae present will give them ore of a chance.

There is a nice green Otto just comming into the hobby but they may be hard to source
