i had placed my female betta in a breeder box in the 20 gallon temporarily so i could treat another fish in the 10 gallon.
lo and behold, the betta was not in the box when i took a look at it this morning. i was like 'what the heck??' and then saw her swimming outside of the breeder box along with her former 10 gallon tankmates, 6 cherry barbs.
i guess she got fed up with being in the box and jumped out. luckily, she didn't land on the other side of the divider or she would've been torn up by the 13 rosy barbs.
