BALLON mollie. the inch rule. Only my females are a full inch. so there goes 3 inches. My 3 BALLON mollies are the same size as my female guppies= 3 inches. so so far 6 inches. My male guppies are very small. All of them are less thatn an inch. so thats less than 9 inches. ill say 8 and a half. Thats every one in my tank. 8 and a half gallons needed but in a ten gallon. Its not overstoked. idk were you seen a female more than an inch long. At least i havent seen any here in jersey.

unless BALLON mollies are a new kind of molly, BALLOON mollies grow to be quite big. Around 3 or 4 inches I'd say.

YOU said your females guppies were full grown, not 1 inch...full grown is 2 and sometimes 3 inches...a full grown male should reach about 2 inches...

the inches per gallon guideline doesn't talk about babies, it is in regards to max size...based on your way of thinking i could have about 46 1" pacus in my 46 gallon bow front

2 full grown females = 6"
3 full grown males = 4"
3 full grown ballloon mollies = 12"

22" is overstocked....sorrrrry, you really don't like to hear anything anyone has to say do you?

and that is measuring conservatively..maybe the reason your 1 year old guppies, etc are so small is because of the small habitat they are living in...my 6 month old fry are bigger than your males - that's just strange to me unless these fish aren't really a year old

You know, this 'arguement' really is getting nowhere, and I know wwestar is going to quote this and say it was uncalled for, or whatever, but this thread is too far gone. It was intended to be a thread about a false statement about the heat cycles of guppies, and now it has turned into a fight with someone who doesn't want to hear it anyways. So, I am going to just let it die. Wwestar, you didn't ask for an opinion, so I'm not going to give you one. Everyone here might have an idea of what I would say, though, and maybe when you decide to start listening to advice people give you, instead of thinking that there is no way you could poddibly be wrong, we will be able to help you fix that overstocked disaster in your house.

uh i have a Eyewitness hand book by dick mills in my hand but i guess you elementry school students dont know who he is. It says guppy+1 amd one fourth and inch MAx.lol u guys are asses. im even going to post pics so u could see the ballon mallies are the same size as my guppies.

Oh, btw, no one agrees it is a half inch. we were saying 3 1/2 inch is normal. As in, three and one half inches. I will type it out because you are too old for numeral writing.
