SO I went to my LFS and started pricing all the equipment for my new tank(125G)
Total came to little over $1k for the equipment.
Same stuff at Big al's was $504

2 x Cascade 1200 filters.
2 x Coralife freshater 96W CF lights
2 x Titanium Tube heaters
Also bought
50' Python
and a few other misc stuff filter media and such.
I tell you sometimes I think LFS's are out to rip people off on equipment.
Just in calling around for my tank I encountered prices from $714 down to the place I bought from of $420 for a AGA 125Gal tank with stand and glass versa top all in oak.
