I almost got my leaf fish to eat frozen shrimp

I'm trying to improvise until my female swordtail has babies. I tried frozen shrimp on a piece of yarn, one of the leafies ALMOST took it!!! Arrgghh. I'll try to go to a local bait shop and get some big fat worms for them They won't be able to resist I went fishing for leaf fish!
