I had a female guppy that died when we tried to see what happened her tailed looked nipped at & it looked like she got hurt, we got another female guppy & for a few days she was fine & now she looks nipped too. Ive but pet in a divider but i wanna know who is bitting her tail.
Ive got:
one male guppy
one Golden Panda Molly
One Serpae tetra
4 Black Neon tetra
2 angel fish

serape tetras are renown fin nippers and should not be kept with slow moving fish or fish with long fins. They also need t be kept in groups of 10 or more. Get rid of the serape tetra.

quarantine all new fish for at least 2 (preferably 4) weeks before adding them to a display tank.

if fish get sick, post pictures and ask for help asap. The sooner you post pics, the sooner we can help.
