Turn your phone on its side so it's horizontal when filming things.

They are probably breeding. Give them a cave made of pvc pipe to breed in.

In my experience, peacock gudgeons choose the tightest of places to breed in, rejecting larger 'caves' and choosing small ones. Some of the places mine bred wouldn't even fit the male and female inside at the same time.

I have also read that males will physically push a female into his chosen cave, though I never saw mine doing that.

Okay....this makes sense.

If they are breeding, congrats! I love peacock gudgeons.

This all started when I went to do a WC.
(Some are 2, others 3 weeks into QT).
I had just fed them and noticed something clear/bunched up on one of the females. I said Oh no! Is i stringy white poo? I had been noticing some fattening up a bit and wondering if they may have worms. Well I kept watching for any similar conditions on the others.
I found none and then i noticed the original fish I saw was indistinguishable from the others because now no had one any of whatever it was that I now know to be eggs.
I did waterchange and started setting rhe tanks back up.
I had made some little covered areas for the shy ones and to keep them feeling safe during QT. As I was setting the tank back up I notice one with eggs just dropping, another one in the corner picking and eating something...remember i had said i fed them already? Well this one was just dripping eggs and eating them! Then here comes a guy to join in the feast. Finally one brave fish just snatched the egg practically right out of her ...
The YouTube video i posted shows the crime in action but it's hard to catch.

Here are way to many pictures

And more video
...

EDITED: chronologically inaccurate. That is NOT my tank post WC.
