Today I was thinking about picking up some cherry shrimp for my 64L, and I was wondering how many I can put in with this stocking..
1 male betta
4 platies
6 endlers
6 ember tetra
? cherry shrimp
I don't have that stocking in yet. Currently in there is 3 endlers, 2 fully grown platies and about 15 platy fry (which will be sold when they're big enough) and no need to worry, I have 2 females, so hopefully no more babies!). I understand that the betta might eat the shrimp? Is that true? There's lots of plant cover so I think they could be okay, but would that be enough?
How many shrimp should I put in? Also, can they eat algae discs? I have a packet of some small discs, which I think they should be able to eat?
