I've tried feeding them at the sametime and even at night but my angel still goes for my catfish pellets, any idea?

What about dropping in a few at different parts of the tank? Or break 1 up and deliberately feed that to the angel and then drop the other in once he/she is occupied?

Put the angel fish on the naughty step until it learns its lesson.

Seriously, short of removing the angel while you feed the cats, there isn't anything you can do.

I'd try over feeding on the pellets so that you know some are going to the angel and the rest are getting to the catfish.

Another idea is to drop pellets in at night once tank and room lights are out. The corys will find them, but hopefully the angels wont. It's not something you can get around really- cichlids love algae wafers/pellets and that sort of thing. Another thing I do is stick their flake foods in first, and whilst they are busy chasing that I quickly drop in a load of pellets- most usually reach the bottom without being noticed by the angels :)

All my cichlids love catfish pellets. Flute's idea is the best drop the food in for the corys at lights out.

did you have your night vision goggles on??

Angels are like flipping gannets! You'll never convince them not to eat the other fish's food, just put some ectra in there in another area of the tank :)

cat fish pellets for your angels is fine, but again yes i over feed them, now my angels don't even touch my flake and just go for the sinking pellets at least i have only one type of food,

probably not so bad as your angel is small but when it can eat the pellet whole haha then it gets interesting

I have the same problem with my angel, and my barbs. They all love the bottom feeder pellets. If you try the lights out method, wait until your angel has settled down a bit, then maybe try adding the food. Its easy with my barbs, they start sleeping almost instantly lol but my angel takes a bit of time to settle in for the night. GL!

Same trouble here with platys and skirted tetras eating sinking pellets intended for corys. Feeding corys after lights out and others have settled for the night seems to help. Although then the shrimp are out scavenging too!
