How to make the tank light “clip”

Hello!

I just want some Ideas to make a diy tank “clip”

Iv recently made a light clip because my light was flush with the water level and my floating weren’t getting enough light
My method as scrappy as it looks but still functional
Get any type of thermo plastic I used a pop bottle put in the oven till it’s floppy then mould the shape then cool .. a rapid cool will change the colour of the plastic mind
