I can think of many intresting ways but its really up to you what makes you feel best aslong as its still not moving.

but there is another way wrap in a plastic bag and place in the freezer
leave for an hour

How are either of these ways humane?!

how is dispatching it with a pair of scissors
of a good whack on the head

Because they are quick, so the fish feels no pain. Like 'flicking it in the head' only you'd have to do it pretty hard. Putting it in a bag, then the freezer means it slowly suffocates while being slowly frozen - not the way I'd choose to go...

So how was it done in the end....? WE NEED UPDATING!

I think they said they put it in freezing water but used bad language in their post so it got removed. Or I dreamt it.

and yes they got me back and i cant see how freezing them
in water is any different to taking them out of water
they both void the fish from getting oxygen

its just better for me as with
me been dyslexic i find is easier
for me to read back to myself as
i find it hard on hare to read most post
so at least i can read my own

I think because fish are cold blooded they die straight away, not from lack of oxygen.

i said flick them in the head
i also said put them in a plastic bag
and place them in the freezer the only
reason i said that was i read it somewhere
in a fishkeeping magazine a few years ago

I'd probably just leave it to die naturally.

If not then I would use the freezing water method.
