Fish Herder
I have just finished (today, about an hour ago) changing out all my gravel and replacing it with sand. All the fish seem fine even though the water was a bit of a mess for a while.
I have put in additional fine filters to remove the remaining crud from the water and it is clearing nicely, I expect it to be fullt cleared by the morning then it's back to moving the new sand around for a rescape.
I did it in three goes, one each week, so that the Clown loaches could find themselves a new place to stay while things were being moved around, they don't seem to have been bothered by the change.
