How Should I Divide My Tank?

Hi all.

Got a "new tank" off mattlee today. It's a 90L AquaOne 620. Bought it so I can divide up my fish tank which will be overstocked when the fishes all grow up.

Any suggestions on how you would divide it? I'm thinking all 12 tiger barbs and my Liver cat in the new tank. It think the liver cat will outgrow the tank also but it's been traumatised by my 3" sajica male when he first arrived. 2 months on he's still hiding most of the time and only comes out at night.

Any suggestions welcomed.

hey sorry to but in on your post but your tank is really awesome. What are those long plants called as im getting rid of my fake ones and wanting to add some real ones, also are they hard to keep sorry again for butting in but any information would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know the name of those but they are very commonly found in any good LFS. They are not expensive either and grows very fast. Mine kind of double in length within about 2 weeks, covering the top of the tank.

With my "planted" setup, my nitrate is actually zero 10 days after water change. My tap water has 20ppm of nitrate. The other plants are java fern, moss balls and I can't name the other one. It's some kind of weed from India.

I'm putting some of the fishes up for sale as I don't think even the 90L is going to accommodate them properly. See the classified section.

My fault for getting them in the first place I guess...
