How often can honey gouramis mate?

I've been semi-successfully trying to breed my honey gouramis. It's my first ever breeding project. My sole adult female just laid eggs for the second time, about two months after the first egg-laying. Does anyone know what the optimal turn around time is? Do I need to give the little lady a few months or will weeks suffice?

I'm feeding a variety of flakes and pellets, with some brine shrimp and bloodworms every few days, trying to pump her full of protein.

Under ideal conditions they can produce a batch of eggs every 2 weeks. However, it is a good idea to give the females a break after a couple of batches because it takes a lot of energy to produce eggs.
