How Many..

How many Dwarf Gouramis (Fully grown at 5cm or 2 Inches) Could I fit comfortably into an 18.5 Gallon tank without overcrowding? Anyone with any sensible ideas please post below.

And only one of those should be male. It is not so much about overstocking as about territoriality. Gouramis can be mean little things.

Thats fine, I was just making sure I could have one male, and one female. There will be a seperate spawning tank for when they are ready - and I have researched alot of infomation on breeding them.

Whether you wish to breed or otherwise, a trio would work out better - 1 male, 2 females that is. Not only does it reduce stress on the females and devide the male's aggression, it also means you're more likely to have at least one female that's gravid and ready to spawn when you want them to.
