Hi all,
Just curious as to how many snails you keep in your tanks. When I got a new LED light for my 60 gallon, the algae increased quickly. I added four nerites, plus the two otos I already had. The algae has really backed off, they sure did a good job but I don't want to starve the little things. I leave the algae on the artificial plants, but angels really graze them and I can't see any more on the glass anywhere. I also have live plants, but the snails don't seem to touch them. Is four too many at this point or are they eating micro-bits I can't see? They're not quick enough to get to algae wafers before the cories.
