Off topic.....12.99 for a guinea pig?? omg they were free when I was a kid, people just gave them to you because there were so many around.

Guinea Pigs from pet stores are pretty expensive, I am sure I could find you a breeder locally who might have some a little cheaper.
RECOMMENDTION GET TWO! They are social animals and live in herds in the wild, I would also recommend keeping them inside because of socialisation with your child.
What are wonder pets? anything with a Guinea Pig interests me, I LOVE THEM!

That would also be a good idea. I take on rescues and they can be nervous but all piggies are, once they have settled in then they will give you lots of love.
I have a few friends who could point you in the right place for either. Contact me via pm if you wanna chat about them.

Not including the tons of pet fish, i have 3 pet rats and thats it .
Used to have hamsters in the past, but with the average life expectancy of 2 years they don't live very long (all of ours except one made it to just over 2 years old). When i got a rat for a christmas present though a month or two after our last hamster passed away, i decided to try out keeping rats and i now own 3 of them in total- and i love them to bits !
If i had unlimited space and lots more time to look after animals, i'd be interested in keeping finches, a rabbit and quails (chinese or japanese), but i don't have anymore space and time for anymore pets right now so i am just keeping it to the fish and rats for now.

I have 2 dogs, a 6yr old boxer named Roxy and an 8yr old golden retriever named Buddy. Plus my 55g tank.

I'd love to have more pets, namely a cat, more dogs, or maybe a bird, but being in school I just don't have time for it. I also currently live with my parents (temporarily while finishing my 2nd bachelors), and my Dad is immunosuppressed so can't really have any pets in the house other than dogs, especially not birds and cats! Plus I don't think the dogs would like it too much either haha.

This week's role call included 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 5 rats I think? Dosen't seem like a alot, but 16 year old me has to pay for everything concerning them! (Including a trip to the e-vet for one of the rats yesterday...)

OMG (having a dramatic moment) you have to pay for everything? Well i supose i do as the money i get goes into getting more pets, but never the vet.

I've got one cat called Willow and two monkeys called Cathy and Abi!

our family cat was called willow after the blue peter cat at the time

sadly passed away last year but he was 15 and had been poorly for some time.

now we have 2 cats, miss mittens (current POTM ) my part siamese rescue kitty and the nearly not a kitten now Lu-Li who's roughly 1 yr old

I'd love more pets but we simply haven't the room, top of my list when we move is a doggy, top of Ian's is a lizard

Ours is named Willow after the film.
