I have an 125 gallon tank and a 10 gallon tank I'm going to use for quarantining. The 10 gallon tank is just recently up and going. Once it is cycled, I plan to start buying young peppered corydora catfish which will (after quarantine) be added to the 125 gallon tank. I'm wondering how many peppered corys I can buy and put in the newly cycled tank at a time? I'd love to get 6 at a time, but I fear that is too many for 10 gallons in one feld swoop.

Id say 6, just watch your parameters closely after

I put about 25 neon tetras and 10 cories in a newly cycled tank after 2 weeks of QT.

If the tank is cycled, you can put 20 fish in it at the same time. The beneficial filter bacteria are there ready and waiting and if there is too much ammonia, the bacteria can double in numbers every hour or two and will quickly get any ammonia under control.

If the tank is 18 inches long (you lot and your 10 gallon thingy ma jigs) and has a fully cycled filter, do 10 Cories at a time.
