How many kg of gravel for 50 gal tank

I'm afraid I have no idea as I have sand in my tanks. And because all my plants are attached to wood or floating, it's not as deep as most tanks.

Measure the length times the width of your tank in inches. Then divide the resulting number by 10. This will give you an estimate in KG's of how much gravel you would need to achieve a 2 inch depth of gravel.

I often do about 1 inch for tank because its easier to clean them.

I have a 55 gallon tank a 40 pound bag of gravel gave me around 2 inches, I have a UGF so I needed 3 inches so I picked up 2 bags. I had about 1/2 bag left. If that helps
