How Many Heaters

i am setting up a 150x50x60cm tank very soon would i need two heaters of say 300w or would two 250w be enough, or what would be the total wattage i would need. regards john.

Dont quote me on this but as a rough guide - and i mean rough

one watt of heater per one gallon of water

so if you have a 25 gal tank then use a 25 watt heater

Sorry, it's 5w/gallon. Your tank comes out to 118 gallons. I would go with a pair of 250's if the tank is in a warmer area, 300's if it's in a cooler area.
