How Many Fish

hi new to the fish forum. what a great site i would like to ask you experts out there how many platys could i have
in a 12 gallon tank ......thanks

I'd say to start out with a trio, 1 male and 2 females, and pretty soon you'll have more than enough to fill that tank

Also, why is this in the Betta section?
