I have just one betta at the moment that I bought on Saturday. Hes my very first betta and his name is Trevor the Tranny.

The 2 synirr Plakat Boys (one is Fynn of Distinction), one red VT (my other red VT got his swim bladder damaged in the last water change and died ), one young still no color plakat boy Quasimodo (he is humpbacked, but builds his nests with gusto and great expectations), Ms. Kinky with the kinked spine, and the sorority with 5 females:2 red plakats, 1 black plakat w/a blue wash, a cambo plakat, and a turquoise VT = 10. I will look for a new VT this next Thursday, probably. I just can't seem to keep my pure red VTs. sigh

oh it's tailbiting alright, i've seen him do it! and it's only the top half of his tail, so he's like a sword-tailed betta! and as soon as he stops it's start to heal up, until it's a few mm from being regrown then *munchmunch* gone!

It's been a while since we've had one of these threads. I'll give it a go.

I've had as many as 10 male bettas and have kept B. imbellis in the past. I'm now down to 6 male bettas, of various tail types and colors.
