how long does it take for there eggs to hatch
good story comming up when i get to find out

Hmm around 2-3 days.

They are fun to breed, I have bred them many times in the past.

How did you go about breeding them? I used a 10 gallon, and 6 WCMM. I just left the adluts in the tank for the whole time. I fed them well and they didn't bother the eggs or fry.

so here is my story

before i started keeping fish i bought 1 of them fish tanks you put on your wall,to small realy to put anything in any way i put 4 minnows in it .had a small internal filter in. they were in there for a few weeks and hay prestoe,bought my aqua one ufo 700.
buy the time i got the 700 cycled and fish in the minnows had been in the little tank for months.so i asked on here if i could put them in the 700,
so i put them in a couple of months ago,they are as happy as larry.
had the grand daughter(9 years old) staying at the weekend and she was on about wanting a fish tank,i said she could have the small one on the bench.had not been emptyed since i took it off the wall ,so half the water had evapt and it was mank,no pump running or anything.she had gone into the kitching for a drink and when she came back in,she shouted GRAND DAD their are little fish it the tank.so i got 5 little babys in a minging tank.so ive topped it up and turned the filter back on (brill or what)can believe they are still alive

great story. i put my 6 wcmm in my tank today and hopefully in a few days i will have some eggs

so it just goes to show if you want to survive against the odds you will (BLESS THE LITTLE BUGGERS)
just got to try and clean the tank out now with out sucking them up lol

Yeah WCMM are great fish to start out on because if you feed the parents good they dont bother the fry at all.
