my platy looks quite pregnant and kinda squared off, but last time i thought she was due i was completly wrong heres some pics

hope u can tell with the pics and if u can see theres algae on the glass and it nevr goes, i scrubb and scrubb and scrubb and i thinks ive got all of it but a few days later its all back !!

She's not ready to drop just yet. Her rear end around her bottom will square off when she's about 4-5 days away. You will also see a white ring appear round her anus.


BTW, a common BN Plec will do wonders for the algae problem. They only grow to 4" too

All orange Platies have a white ring around their anus. They get a darker ring around the inner edge of the anus (this is the vent opening) when about to give birth. It was discussed previously in this thread if you want to have a look.

She should drop within a week, 2 at latest, can u get a pic from overhead...

Definitly heavy pregnant, i think she will drop within a week.
