How Long Till Nitrites Go Down Roughly

My ammonia isndroppin in 12hrs but my nitrite still hasnt dropped yet shld it be quicker than the ammonia

Usually it takes at least twice as long for the nitrite to fall to zero as it did for the ammonia, but that's only a very rough guide. So, for example, if it took a week for the ammonia to first drop to zero then you'd expect another two weeks after that for the nitrite to start dropping to zero. Just what i didnt want to hear it took abt 3 weeks to gt ammonia down do i still kepp dosing my ammonia until it goes down

Yes you keep dosing ammonia every time it falls to zero and continue to do so until both the ammonia and nitrite fall to zero within 12 hours.
