How Long For Platy To Give Birth?

I purchased a pregnant platy yesterday evening, by the time I got home I had 2 babies in the bag. I suspect that was just stress, but the 2 babies are now swimming around. She's had 4 or 5 others in the last few hours, and still is fat and I can see at least a couple of dark spots in her gravid spot. How long does it take for a platy to finish having her babies?

It can vary. Most babies are usually born within a few hours.

I just took her out of the breeder net I had her in. It looks like she had around 20 babies! It's been a long time since I had baby fish so I'm a little excited to watch some of these grow up.
