How Long Do I Need To Wait And Should I Test For Anything?

i made some ornaments for the small tank, under my oscar tank, i used boiled slate and interpet aquarium sealant, this was the day before yesterday (fri), i added them to the tank today and filled the tank, but i have no idea when i can add fish ( dont have any fish plans either yet), the tank is only 40 litres .so any ideas??
anyway if they dont fall apart ,what should i do next?? test for anything? i havent put a filter in yet as theres no fish obviously..

Whatever the intructions on the sealant says for curing time. Not sure if it can cure properly underwater though?
