How Does This Stocking Sound?

Thta's cool then, everybody has different opinions, and if you think they all seem to be doing good, then keep it at that. :good:

Hmmm, and so the mystery of the algae eater continues

Does sound like a really nice combination of colours though, a pic of your tank would be cool to see.

I would still strongly urge you to buy a bigger filter though

Will get pics of it sometime tonight. The algae eater does look like a marble chinese one, like I said - but I'm not totally sure.

Pics! as promised.. The best I could get without going right out where you couldn't see anything. So, just took a few of different sides of the tank.

looks great but incase you didn't already know the algae eater is a CAE which have a bad reputation for aggressiveness as they grow

lilfishie - We had been wondering what he was and I had thought he was perhaps a marble CAE but wasn't sure.

glad you knew, they are nice little fish until they reach a certain size, had one myself was my favourite fish until i saw it attacking my guppies

I'll leave the stocking advice to others, but I'd suggest that you need to turn down the heater a little bit. Danios don't like it more than about 26 degrees, and I think that goes for cories as well.
Have a look in the fish species section and find out the ideal temperature range for each of your fishies, then try and find one that suits them all.
