Hi ,only place i can buy plants from nearby is at my lfs ,but they`ve got a lot of snails in the plant tank,if i run them under the tap and leave them in water with a bit of salt in to kill the snails, overnight ,will this do the job,the only problem is the snails eggs ,and will the salt harm the corries?

Just buy them online, you get much better plants than most fish shops.

If you rinse the plants, there wont be any salt on them when you put them in the tank...will there.

Hi,thanks for that ,can anyone reccomend a good online supplier,please/

Planted section of the forum is full of links and resources, the guys there know lots :)

No need to be snippy. Who would know if the plant would absorb some salt? I like that she's being extra careful.

If you're in the states, Petco sells plants that come in a tube. They have no pests on them and are very healthy. I would never buy livestock from them, but the plants are good.

Like mentioned above you could always look online, the planted section of the forum will give you some decent websites. I would use tropica. I know a lot of major retailers buy their plants from them because they are good quality (saying that they are a bit more expensive). Hope that helps.
