How Do I Get Eggs Off A Rock Into A Net

for the time being, you can wrap the net breeder over the rock like you did, but stack some gravel around the sides to make sure no fry escape prematurely when the eggs hatch.

only other thing i can think of is to get a tank divider and place the rock on its own side of the divider. make sure that aeration, heating, and water circulation are sufficient and the fry should be ok.

where do i get one of they from and how much would it cost

You can get whats called "eggcrate" very cheap at a hardware store around 8 US dollars. It is used in lighting as covers for flourescent lights, look in the lighting section or run a search on google for eggcrate, then seperate the breeding pair from the other fish.

thanks what chance have i got of any surviving and how long would it be b4 they hatch

unfortunately, the egg crate will not work, as the holes in it are too large. the fry will swim out of them and either get eaten or sucked into the filter.

you can buy a tank divider from any lfs/lps. just ask for one. i personally use penn plax brand tank dividers but they're not the best for water circulation. there might be better brands out there, although the only other one i know of is lee's.

Yes a tank divider would be better, however, assuming they parent raise, cichlid parents do an excellent job and most likely would have no problem controlling and moving the fry where they like, granted a few will swim through.

yes its ok for most cichlids to be seperated from the eggs. A few exceptions of course like Discus who need to feed off their parents slime coat but your should be fine. Keep in mind im not entirely sure what species of fish you have, a young salvini or something closely related is my best guess but that could be very wrong. Def looks like a new world cichlid though.
