my live plants are one of my favorite parts of my fish tank... but with my golden apple snail in there munching on them, i fear they wont last long.. so i think for the well being of my plants... and for the well being of shelly ( my snail) i need to start feeding her some veggies .. i would be greatful for some suggestions on what to feed her, and the best way to do it?! :)

I put zuccini in for my clown plec and apple snail. You put it in raw for the snail or blanch it for a second. I've also tossed in as piece of apple/pear/lettuce/algae waffers, veggie wafers....

Just weigh it down with something like a spoon or fork punched through.

"courgette" If you are in the UK

Some people say that broccoli is good, but last time it made my tank water smell awful!!! I leave it in overnight.

I drop in a small piece of algae wafer for my apple snail. He seems fine on it (by that I mean I've had him just over a month and he's still alive)

He leaves my plants alone though

should i move her close to it when i put it in there so she knows its there? or should i just let her find it?

My apple snails have munched my vallis and baby tears.

They happily eat cucumber as well.

Mine love algae wafers! I put in 1/2 a wafer and it's all gone by morning
