Personal opinion i guess, but BiOrbs do nothing for me IMHO, they just look like one big gimmick that doesn't come with the hardware to back it up. I do like the Fluval Edge though....

Yeah, I dnt like biorbs either. IMO they are rip offs

I don't like biorbs. So expensive and they aren't really that great or cool IMHO.

It does look nice and you can see why they sell, but it's design over function which is why anybody with a bit of fish knowledge are repelled.
Also way over priced.

For the same money I would think that you could find a really nice tank (same size), all the components (heater, filter, etc.), substrate, decor, plants, fish, food, test kit and still have enough to go out for dinner... twice!

I saw a 1 gallon fish bowl add and it said perfect for your bettas guppies and zebra danios so your friends are happy all day long!!!!!!

That one doesn't even come with a heater...
Last month at my local petco I could have bought 7 tetra 15 gallon success kits so 7 15 gallon tanks 7 heaters and filters and 7 lights for the price of this tank.

That looks awful.

I am a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to tanks. Rounded corners are about as fancy as I get (which I have on my current set up).

I am more of a fan of stylish cabinets - like brushed aluminium doors / edging etc, but I like a nice traditional rectangular tank.
