How can I pass this up?

There's no space for it even if you get rid of the 2 foot tank? No basement/attic you can store it in?

you wouldnt believe how full the two attics are. and we dont have a basement, and the garage is also full to the brim. Maybe I should instigate a house clear up. :shifty:

and sneak a certain tank into the gap.

:sly:

:flex: But im not strong enough to carry it all the way from her house to mine...so Id have to get my dad (and his car) involved somewhere along the line...

what would I put in it...

more angels...a plec...thats probably all I could put in there!

But I cant get rid of the 2ft...I just changed the gravel and it looks beautfiul.

heres a piccy of it..

Till They Give in And Let You Have the Tank.

You have a beautiful tank - but just think... you could have another! Honestly though, try clearing up some space. You don't often come accross an opportunity like this and if you don't try to make room you'll find your regret it later when you need to spend a fortune on a new tank. As for fish to put in it... :p Make it a pearl gourami species tank ;)

Making room is easy, elevate your bed and put the tank under it,make your bed high enough its easy with a bit of wood,(like those cabin beds). It would fit easily underneath

   WHY! i wish that wold happen to me! it almost did one time but the thing was in too bad of shape and i wold never attempt a reseal and repair on something like that.

Actually a loft bed is a really good idea!! Unless you have a queen sized or bigger bed. Good luck

Wow, that's a very interesting idea! I've never heard of anyone doing that!

Any chance I could have the tank? :p I'm serious this time...

if you want, just take the tank, sell or trade it for like.....i don't know, a smaller one, and then you can get other accessories/cash/fish from the trade/sell.

Nice tanks!

Plecoperson, you can do the same with the 5 ft (substrate, plants, etc) and make is just as beautiful as the 2 ft. As for plant cost--just think, what you'll spend for the plants would be what you would have spent if you paid for the tank. :)

lol I told my mum what you have all been saying and she said "No, your still not having it." :(

I want the tank. we could be moving house in about a year anyway...I wonder if she would hang onto it for a while longer. OR

I could move out.

Cut the apron strings, if you will.

:-(

have to do a flat share though. I know I'll regret it if I dont get it but I dont see how this woman can spend so much on a tank like that and want to GIVE it away!!!!!

even if I got sick of the 2ft tomorrow, I would sell it preferably more for than I paid for it!!!!
