it took my khulis about 2 weeks to start becoming confident and eating out in open spaces for a fair few mins during daylight. Now they dart all over and will confront other fish, if their wafer is being taken

give it a few days, feed their wafers at night, don't panic

Pretty sure they are fine if they bury themselves. Mine dig holes under the log everytime I move it and they also bury themselves as soon as I try to clean. I freaked out too lol but soon realized that they will come out. Again I think they just like to hide, pretty sure most at my lfs are kept with sand and all of them are buried unless disturbed
