Fish Fanatic
Hello Everyone *waves* I joined the other week but, due to work, literally haven't had time to sit down and spend time on here other than to comment on a couple of the forums *phew*
I've been keeping fish as long as I can remember - mostly tropicals and goldfish - live bearers and egg layers. This year I ventured into Saltwater fish keeping after many many years of admiring of(read: drooling over) and yearning for a marine tank of my own. I've had several disasters with the marine fish so far, a couple avoidable and my own fault, a couple not but that's not diminished my love of them. I just feel sorry for the poor fish who've died
I've actually decided that as far as curiosity goes (and I'm VERY curious - you have been warned!!
) that the live rock runs rings around the fish..... *waits for lightening bolt from the sky*.....I don't know what sort of processes and such the live rock you get overseas goes through but the live rock that is sold in my local area, is sourced from the Great Barrier Reef (which begins offshore from the town I live in - note to self: I must go diving one day
) so has all sorts of weird and wonderful life on it. Each bit of rock is like a mystery garden that you buy then watch day and night to see what grows, creeps out and flourishes. I'll be posting pix of the weirdo creatures I've found so far soon. Someone might know what species they are
. Anyway, enough from me, cheers
