Hi everyone just thought I would pop here and introduce myself before posting.
My name is James I am not new to fish keeping but I have forgotten all my nowledge as it was over 8 years ago that I had my last tropical tank.
I currently I have a fluval edge planted tank in mid cycle it had some guppies in but as you guessed new tank. They sadly all died. Well I have a problem but will post it in the correct forum.

welcome to the forum, personally id try and fishless cycle to the tank

That's what I'm doing at the moment my ammonia is 1ppm nitrite 0 pH is 8 just need the ammonia to go down then I think where all good I have already had the nitrite spike
