hmm yes well you have allot of things to check up on here one of the more important things to do is check the water chems i htink its a good place to start and you will know where you stand. and it wont stress the fish to take a cup of water out of the tank for testing. do you have oxiginating plants and a air pump in the tank? and as was quite rightly said is the filter working nicely fish love a good water flow in the tank. fishnfry is quite right to point to that thread about the pump as its good to check all the factors when finding the problem and its also good because you might find it avoids future problems. allot of the fish you have sounds quite hardy so hopefully most of them will make it through. Hopefully others will add some info to shed some light.
phew.... thanks for all your help, well we took some water out.. checked it all , all seemed ok.
