Hello and welcome to the forum.

Keith.

hi and welcome . but be warned these fishies are veeeery addictive

Welcome, looking forward to seeing the progress.

You going to start a journal?

I'm Brian and so's my wife!

Welcome fella - I got into it on my 40th birthday since wanting a tank as a kid. It's worth the wait

Brian... make sure you've read EVERYTHING in the beginners guide. It's FishAreFriendsNotFood10's signature line. It'll save a lot of strife! Good luck.

He's not the Messiah - he's a very naughty boy

It's SO infectious

Welcome Brian!!!

Lots of top advice! Be sure to ask plenty! rather ask a stupid question than make a stupid mistake :)

Welcome to the forum LifeofBrian.
Each of us must deal with reality from time to time. If you can achieve a childhood dream at the mere age of 38 you are doing better than some of us. I am a returning fish keeper who is presently 63 years young. I had some minor fish adventures as a 10 year old and again in my twenties but then I took quite a bit of time off to have and raise kids. Now as an "empty nester" I find a renewed joy in my fish hobby. With a very understanding wife, I have been able to get back into the hobby rather heavily but each of us has some obstacle to overcome.
Please take the time to go to the beginner's resource center. It is full of articles that a new fish keeper really should try to understand.Once you have a look through there, please return to ask us about any questions it raises for you. Until you can grasp the basics that we present there, you will have trouble trying to keep fish in top condition. I have a link to that section in my signature area.
