Hi everyone!

I decided about a week ago that I wanted to add a new species to my fishroom, so I've been looking into different fish from all different genres We all know I'm a betta gal and I love flowing fins and so I ended up deciding on guppies.

I researched breeders through the IFGA, and I bought four trios last night from Rick Grigsby I'm getting hb purples, purples, and purple bi-colors

At this point I'm going to keep a tank of males and a tank of females and then when I achieve my F1, they'll be seperated by sex and strain

I wish we got some of those around here.
Well....there was 1 male that looked similar to that one, only he was black, but I had to make the mistake of buying him for xXMrBonesXx I should have bought it for myself

congrats on the guppys! i am axiously awaiting my own aquabid wins - some mixed juveniles for me to start with. as a newbie i was wary of spending a ton on breeding trios that i might make a stupid mistake with. i like the purples and especially the blues. i'll probably go for those next!!

Thanks guys! I'm pretty excited, I'm getting my new shelves tomorrow (weather providing) and I've started filters on my existing tanks so they'll be ready when the new ones arrive I just can't wait to se them in person

I have one similar to that shown in pale blue and also in black and yes they are nice and flowing like bettas
