Hi all newbie here i have 2 rtc and am in the process of re-housing them in a nice 7ft 700litre+ tank for now lol before anyone starts i know how big these guys get and have future plans for them ive got 2 fx5s for the filtration but dont know what sort of air pump to use in there new tank? Im in the uk btw so any help would be good:)

No, he has quite clearly stated that he is running two Fluval FX5 filters which is perfectly adequate for now....

I love RTC's not often we find someone who is capable of looking after them though.... what are your plans for future big tanks for them and are they together?

As for airstones... its completely up to you, they are of no benefit to the tank, purely for moving the water a little bit and for decoration. Personally, in such a large tank, I would get the biggest Elite Air Curtain you can get :) they are excellant!

This one is just shy of 3ft long! You will need a really big air pump to run it though... but being flexable (its like a really bendy rubber tube) you can curve it around ornaments or wood or hav it straight or whatever...

Thanks for info on air curtain ile be ordering one of those just want to make sure i get a powerful enough airpump as for the rtc yes they are together i used to have them with a rtcx but they didnt get along that was when they where all small anyways the rtcx is with a good home future plans are to house them in there own inclosed pond on my patio im looking into how id like it layed out but ilebe starting that in the summer
