Iv recently just set up a planted fish tank and have now made my own c02 using sugar yeast and water with an air stone and line.
My question is I only have a normal strip light on the tank and nothing special also no fertilisers I don't have a clue about them
or where to start any help and advice really appreciated

Ok peeps thanks for the great advice.....NOT going to try some other forums were they actually help people!!!

We need to know more about your set up. What size is the tank? How heavily planted is it? How heavily stocked is it? What type of strip light do you have? What is the wattage? How good is your filtration?

People aren't ignoring you, they've been out enjoying the sunshine, it's Sunday too. The forum has been very quiet today from what I can see. The members of this forum are extremely knowledgeable and very willing to help, but can only do so when they've seen the thread. Once we know a bit more about your setup, we can help you better.

The co2 setup you have should be perfectly safe for your fish. Do you have a one way valve to stop water siphoning back into the fermentation canister? What yeast mix are you using?
