Hey there my name is Jack and I am hoping to start keeping tropical fish. my dad used to have fish and I have been inspired to give it a go meself

However, I just need a bit of advise, what would you guys recommend to start off with? (Tank size and fish)

Hi Jack, welcome to the forum. Where abouts in Notts are you? The best advice i would give is get the biggest tank that you have the space and money for. Ensure you get the correct sized filter and ensure you cycle the filter before adding any fish. If you can get to Kirkby In Ashfield, NG17 then i would be willing to let you have some already cycled media for you to get your filters up and running with.

A good test kit and plenty of research are the name of the game.
