Sorry it’s so cloudy /:
There’s nothing In it except for some snails
Advice is appreciated :)

Here's some info:
It's this plant package, I didn't add the jungle val, I put it in my big tank.
It has a digital heater, and a hang-on-the-back sponge filter
The wood is Tiger driftwood.
The substrate is soil, sand, and planted tank substrate.
The stalking will probably be shrimp & snails, honey gourami, or a betta.

Any idea why it looks kinda cloudy or is that just how the pic came out? Or has the sand not settled?

The plants & wood look good! 👍

Yeah, same thing happened to me recently on a newly set up axolotl tank. & I washed the sand well outside in a bucket with a hose. Wouldn’t settle for hours, so followed Colin’s suggestion to do a water change. It worked! Yay!

Almost looks like some of your soil leaked through your sand cap and gunked up your water. I always put at least an inch of sand over the dirt, then I'm super careful filling up. What I can see looks pretty cool!
