Here We Go Again!

Great news, your almost there, it will all be worth the wait in the end :)

Yer, it's been a tough wait but since the stalling problem it's been good to see things moving closer each day.

My only concern now is I still cant decide which other fish to add...

Sorry not been on in a while. Things got a little stressful, first I ran over a screw so needed a new tyre, turned out I then needed another 2 new tyres. Then one of my rats needed to get put down and 2 days later his brother died. Medium tank leaked so needed to cram all of my fish into the 35l tank in the kitchen with the filter from the med tank. Computer and mobile broke. Work has been really slow as I'm self employed so every spare minute is spent flyer dropping. I came home late from work one evening to find my male house rabbit ill, emergency call to the vets and several trips later (and lots of money later) he is finally ok after getting gut stasis, then upon getting my replacement tank and setting it up finding out that ammonia isn't being processed anywhere near quick enough so have had to start all over again at the same time as the little tank can no longer cope with so many fish so with nitrite still short of reaching 0 in 12 hours in the big tank off they went into there as it's the more stable tank of the 3!

At least the levels are staying at 0 constantly, just upset I didn't get to finish the cycle properly especially after waiting that long! Fish have all been in there for a week now so I'm finally looking at getting something new and waiting for med tank to cycle so I can get my SFF!

Thank you all for all your help over the passed few months, no doubt I will be back again soon!

Vicki

oh i'm sorry you've had such a traumatic few weeks, what a nightmare, i hope everything is on the road to recovery now.

glad the big tank is holding out, there's always a bit of play and guess work in deciding when you can safely stock and sometimes you have to wing it and hope, glad it's worked out OK for you. :good:
