So I was sad I missed the launch because of work. I wasn't able to get off early either, I also had no idea what all was launching. Luck was on my side though, because halfway home from work I ran across them! :hyper:

You don't want to know how excited I got when I saw this one . Naturally I chased it down, since the shaped ones don't stay up very long, and who wouldn't chase a giant fish shaped balloon?

That was all I got for pics of it landing. They started shouting "come help pull". The real chasers for this balloon somehow managed to get lost. About half a dozen people including myself went out to it and did our best to keep it on the ground. Though it drug along way and we couldn't get the basket straight. The chasers eventually got there and spread the tarp and the balloon was deflated. It wasn't the best weather for the balloons, only 1 of the 3 planned launches actually happened. It was a rough landing IMO, I've only been in a balloon once though.....

3 hours later the fish, Wally, was back at the launch field for the moon glow. I wouldn't say it was the prettiest balloon there. Defiantly the best fancy balloon we have had in a long time.

lol I would love to do a hot air ballon ride!

Last photo is really nice :)

And I bet that parents with toddlers in the car had to deal with "NEMO!!!" all the way home.
