then you'll have to get rid of the dalmation
Yeh guppies have a habbit of trying to cross breed. But ive never heard of the male guppy doing it, only the male molly. The tank should sort itself out eventually. How were things over night?
Females drop fry when they are ready so no problem there. If you have a breeding trap put her in there. Give the males some time. Earlier this week I got two new female balloon mollies and the males dident bother for a day or two. How are they acting now?
ok here's the situation:
you have 5 mollies- they get too big for the tank, basically you can't buy anymore fish for the tank, instead you need to get rid of some.
are there any more fish in the tank?
the dalmation is harrassing the female- get rid of the males. Either that, or make sure that the other females are actually females, and not males.
In the pictures the male is "nuzzling" the bottom fins, this is a mating ritual, they aren't actually mating, but the female looks pregnant. Females can store sperm, this means she can be pregnant lots of times even if a male isn't around.
