IM finding fry in my tank but there is no female that is becoming thinner!!!!!!!!!!

How can I figure out who is giving birth?

It depends on the type of fish. Find out how long a particular species/breed usually lives, and use that number to divide the average human lifespan. :)

How can I figure out who is giving birth?
I totally had this problem when my balloons had their first batches of fry. I was sure that my green female would be the first to pop, as she was huge, but she ended up being the last (and had the most fry.)

In the end, I figured out whose fry were whose based on the color of the fry. The first fry were all silver=silver mother; second a couple had spots=dalmation mother; and third a range of light brown to dark=green mother.

Of course, since each of my females is a different color, that makes it fairly easy. If you've got multiple females that are the same color, then comparative pudginess may be the only way to tell.

My fry all come out transparent and I have alot of types of fish
